Create SummitImplemented
Speakers can applyImplementedThis works, but is a bit cumbersome. We’re working on a new flow to make this much easier and intuitive.
Host can send private Speaker invitationComingSome events are by speaking by invitation only; this feature will ensure those speakers can apply, and nobody else
You can promote your event to speakersImplementedThat’s what the Events Directory is for, inside the application.
You can promote your event to attendeesImplemented, requires EventRaptor assistanceIt requires our assistance to set it up. The attendee registration page is relatively simple, featuring some text and a list of your summit speakers. Later you will have much more control over the page, and be able to publish it without our intervention.
You can charge for tickets to the event/for recording accessComingAt the moment you can charge tickets in your own system, then let us know (discuss with us how to set this up). Later you will be able to set this up.
You can send thank you and reminder emails to attendeesImplemented, requires EventRaptor assistanceWe can send out all the emails, according to the schedule you decide. However, we at EventRaptor need to set it up, so you give us the text, subject lines and schedule, and we set it up for you.
You can use affiliate links for promotingImplemented, requires EventRaptor assistanceYes, you can use affiliate links, and it works fine. At the moment you can simply decide what the affiliate ID is, and we’ll provide you the leaderboard ranking. In the future, EventRaptor will automatically allocate the affiliate ID – OR, if you use ThriveCart, you can give us the ThriveCart affiliate ID when you set speakers up. We are also looking at supporting other affiliate systems.
You can send emails including leaderboard ranking to affiliates and promotersImplemented, requires EventRaptor assistanceLike attendee emails, provide the subject line, copy and schedule, and we’ll ensure the information is sent out to your promoters.

We are supporting people with LIVE and prerecorded events right now; if you are looking to go live with your summit, set up a meeting with Steve: https://EventRaptor.com/schedule and let’s discuss how we can support you, and go through in more detail what we can do, and what you must do for your event.

When will my event be published? https://training.eventraptor.com/docs/when-will-my-event-be-published Fri, 09 Jul 2021 22:04:53 +0000 https://training.eventraptor.com/?post_type=docs&p=72 When you create an event, it will NOT be published automatically.

After creating the event, you have a Dashboard for your event management.

At the top of the Dashboard you have a ‘Publish’ option.

Only when it’s toggled to blue is your event visible in the directory.

How to Apply as a Presenter to an Event https://training.eventraptor.com/docs/how-to-apply-as-a-presenter-to-an-event Thu, 08 Jul 2021 03:25:51 +0000 https://training.eventraptor.com/?post_type=docs&p=67 Here are the steps.

If you do not yet have an account, go to https://app.eventraptor.com/register and register an account with EventRaptor.

The first screen after will ask if you want to set up a Speaker Profile – yes, do that. If you have gone past that screen, click this link and you will see the option there: https://app.eventraptor.com/profile

After entering your data, the system will save the information you entered and it will go to the top of the page. We’re aware this is not intuitive and we will change that. In the meantime, simply click here to go to the next step: https://app.eventraptor.com/profile

Click “Publish” on the profile if you want it to appear in the directory – GREAT for getting more speaking opportunities!

Click on “Create a Presentation” – enter all the information for your talk. Save when you are done. You can add a graphic for your presentation – it works best when it’s in 16:9 format. You can also select to Publish the presentation – it will then appear in the Speaker Directory as well.

Again, after saving, it will stay on the screen. But you are ready to “apply” to be a speaker.

Go to the Events directory to find the event you want to speak at: https://app.eventraptor.com/events

In the top right hand corner, you’ll see a button that says “Present at Event”. If you do not see it, it’s very likely that the event is not taking speaker applications at this time!

Select your speaker profile and your talk profile, and make any necessary changes. Review, and click “Next”.

You’re done!

We’ll soon have a video to show the flow for this.
